MIKAELA SHIFFRIN BREAKS YET ANOTHER RECORD

Nothing can stop the queen of the slopes, Mikaela Shiffrin. Not only did she claim her 95th World Cup victory in Jasna on Sunday. The American ski star also counts 150 World Cup podiums as of today - and counting. Shiffrin has claimed yet another record: She is the most successful person in slalom history with her 82nd podium finish in this discipline.

Just a few days before, Shiffrin won her 94th World Cup race in Flachau, after having missed the weekend races in Altenmarkt-Zauchensee due to illness. In Flachau, she was joined by World Cup Warrior and closest rival Petra Vlhová, who skied to an incredible second place. Congrats, World Cup Warriors!

However, the season reached an early end for Petra Vlhová, as she crashed on home snow.
After three wins this season in the slalom, Petra was second in the overall World Cup count. With Mikaela Shiffrin on the first place, this made for two World Cup Warriors at the top.

We wish a quick recovery to you, Petra! We hope to see you soon on the slopes.
