JÚLIO CÉSAR CELEBRATES 90 YEARS OF SPORTING HISTORY WITH REUSCH
In 1934, Karl Reusch made his first pair of gloves in the attic of his house in Metzingen, Swabia, laying the foundations for the Reusch company, which is now based in Bolzano.
To celebrate the company‘s 90th anniversary, the company‘s steadily growing workforce from all three locations came together with guests of honour, sales partners and sales representatives from 20 countries and four continents in Bolzano. South Tyrol‘s capital has been the headquarters of the globally active sports brand since 2017. The celebration took place in the Meta Skybar restaurant in the heart of Bolzano. Among the guests of honour: former Brazilian national goalkeeper and triple winner Júlio César.
Together with Reusch CEO Erich Weitzmann, they shared memories on a stage and reminisced about their first encounter. The South Tyrolean sports scene was also represented with the extreme sports video maker Jakob und Matthias Weger, also known as the “Weger Brothers”.
Numerous active and former ski racers and companions sent video messages to congratulate the company on its big anniversary.
