Deeply rooted in the Dolomites, we bear responsibility for nature and people. Our goal: to reduce the environmental impact of our work and to live a sustainable business model throughout the entire supply, manufacturing, and distribution chain.

With our Taking Care program, inspired by the UN Sustainable Development Goals, we focus on human rights, fair working conditions, environmental protection, and zero corruption – improving the environmental balance of every glove, step by step.

What we have already achieved

Sustainable Materials

  • Step by step, we have removed PFCs from the outer fabrics of our ski gloves.
     
  • Our winter gloves now mostly contain recycled insulation from certified sources.
     
  • Many models in our winter collection feature recycled linings and recycled membranes – also from certified sources.
     
  • Over 100,000 pairs of gloves have already been manufactured using recycled polyester components in the outer fabric.
     
  • Our functional apparel for goalkeepers is now also made from recycled polyester.

Eco-friendly Packaging

  • We use FSC-certified paper for product packaging and catalogs.
     
  • Our polybags consist of 100% recycled and recyclable materials.
     
  • Parts of the packaging for our goalkeeper products have been switched to EVA.

Climate Protection & Optimized Logistics

  • We continuously review our requirements, adjust schedules, and plan ahead to ensure on-time deliveries – preferably via sea freight.
     
  • Through internal optimizations such as consolidating shipments, we increase the efficiency of our shipping.
     
  • Since 2019, we have been voluntarily calculating the CO₂ emissions associated with our activities and supporting certified climate protection projects.

Fair & Responsible Supply Chain

  • Together with our factories, we have developed procurement guidelines that establish social, ethical, and ecological standards.
     
  • Despite the seasonal nature of our products, we work closely with our suppliers and ensure stable working conditions through year-round orders.

In the manufacturing of gloves for winter sports and goalkeepers, not all measures can be implemented equally – materials and manufacturing processes are simply too different. 

With our ski glove collection, we have often been able to make faster progress, yet our journey does not end there. We are constantly learning and working to reduce the environmental impact of every single product, step by step.

Future Goals – thinking ahead, acting better

Continuously increase the proportion of recycled content in our products.

 

Develop products that last longer and generate less waste.

 

Furthermore, reduce the use of materials and utilize sustainable alternatives.

 

Optimize transport routes and specifically lower the CO₂ footprint.

 

Involve factories and suppliers even more closely to collectively reduce environmental impacts.

 

Make our warehouse more energy efficient.
