Care Instructions

As highly technological and delicate products, winter gloves deserve and need special attention. Following some basic rules when using, cleaning, drying and storing the gloves will help maximizing their performance and durability.

Read through our care instructions step by step and learn more about how to treat your gloves right.

1. Avoid Washing

  • Always check the glove care label thoroughly. Each model is different and can have different specifications.
  • In general, we advise against hand-washing or machine-washing gloves.
  • Be aware that washing gloves can harm the material properties and functionality.
  • If you need to clean your gloves, use a wet cloth.

2. Drying at room temperature

  • Let the gloves dry at room temperature.
  • Keep away from radiators or other direct heat sources.
  • Direct heat can damage the palm material and reduce durability.

3. Leather treatment

  • Clean full-leather gloves only by wiping them with a wet cloth.
  • After drying, treat leather gloves with dubbin or a similar leather care product.
  • Always follow the instructions of the leather care product used.
  • Reusch Leather Care wax enhances durability and maintains smoothness.
  • Store the wax at room temperature.
  • As a natural material, leather may change appearance over time without affecting performance.

4. Storage

  • Do not expose gloves to UV radiation such as intense sunlight or fluorescent light.
  • Store gloves in a cool, dark and dry place.

5. Wearing tips

  • Many gloves include an integrated storm leash that can be fastened around the wrist.
  • Loops inside the cuff allow attaching external leashes.
  • Never grab skis on sharp edges, as they may damage the glove material.
